Ian Perry is a multi-instrumentalist who has trained in classical and jazz theory for over 10 years. An experienced session musician, Ian enjoys adding his touch to any project as a guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboardist and vocalist.

His years of formal training across multiple genres make him a very versatile and proficient player and he is well respected for his ability to capture unique and emptive tones. He has often been referred to as the “Tone Master”

Ian is currently the lead guitarist touring frequently with Cameron Whitcomb. His distinctive tone and syle is very prevalent on songs such as Shoot Me Dead and The Devil I’ve Seen.

Ian is also the lead guitarist for Vancouver Indie Artist Haleluya Hailu.

Producer/Engineer

Under the production alias “Piri”, Ian has engineered and produced countless projects for local artists across multiple genres including Rap, Rock, Indie, Folk, R&B and Pop. A skilled engineer, he is very comfortable in a professional studio environment can run complex sessions with ease, and his years of musical training equip him with amazing composition and production skills. He was instrumental in getting Cameron WHitcomb’s first commercially successful song, Shoot Me Dead, to market. This song has over 20 million streams and counting.

His production style has been described as having a unique signature sound that is easily identifiable. Whether it be live instrumentation recorded by traditional analog methods, or digital in the box production, you can always identify the unique Ian Perry sound.
